“Navigating Insanity: One Man, One Mind, A Whole World of Questions” by Larry Bentley is now available for purchase

Citi of Books is glad to announce the publication of the book “Navigating Insanity: One Man, One Mind, A Whole World of Questions” by Larry Bentley. The name of the book refers to the way the author, Larry Bentley, feels when he gets deep into the thought about some of the subjects that he discussed in this book. This book is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retail sites.

Larry Bentley was the first-born kid and had 2 siblings. They lived in a small town in northeast Iowa in 1968 and went to a small-town school. He fulfilled his first dream of being a soldier when he dropped out of school in tenth grade and joined the Army. At the age of 17, he became an infantryman. He served proudly for four years. 

In 1987, he met the lady who became his wife in 1990. During this period Larry and his wife became members of a heavy metal band. During his time in the band, he co-wrote and copyrighted more than 120 songs and helped produce three albums. 

After the band broke up, it became time to settle down. Larry worked in produce, in factories, and eventually help positions in management and quality control. This all came to a crushing end when he was injured at home but could not return to work.  

He then decided it was time to go back to school. He received his GED. Then they went a bit further. He received AA degrees in business, accounting, and education. His bachelor’s degree in human resources would have to wait due to money issues, i.e. bills. 

This would be Larry’s first book. He gets into his thoughts and feels sometimes as if he is truly “Navigating Insanity” when he tries to analyze different aspects of the human condition. With plans to write more, it seemed to be a good idea to learn more about who he is or was at the time of the writing. 

Following the first publication of this book, Larry would receive two new hips, develop diabetes and over all just fall apart physically. Continued to work with persons with disabilities and mental illness. He is currently working on his second and third books. One will be a novel and the other will be a book of poetry. Currently looking forward to finishing them. Look for them soon.
