Citi of Books is glad to announce the publication of the book “The Miracle of the Ugly Little Sweater: A Tale of Redemption” by Bob Schuck. It is a children’s book which centers on a little girl, Maria, and her little sweater she named “mija”. This is now available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retail sites.
Bob Schuck is a dedicated practicing attorney based in Findlay, Ohio, where he has built a reputable career in the legal field. He is happily married and takes great pride in his role as a father to two adult children, fostering a close-knit family atmosphere. Bob is always eager to engage with others and welcomes any questions or comments. He can be reached at myuglysweater@outlook.com.
“The Miraculous Ugly Sweater” was inspired by the author’s dream, which sparked his imagination. As Bob developed the story and illustrations, he realized that it represented a journey of redemption. It tells the heartfelt tale of a young girl who treasures the sweater she created with her own hands.
Maria reluctantly sells her sweater to help her family by paying for their trip from Mexico to America. The sweater means everything to her, but her selfless act sets in motion events that ultimately reunite her with the sweater she sacrificed to support those she loves.
The little sweater is passed down from one person to another several times. At one point, it cries and asks, “Will anyone ever want me?” At that moment, a larger sweater hears it, comforts it, and encourages the little sweater, saying it is not the end. Eventually, a woman sets eyes on the little sweater and buys it. She wraps it carefully and gives it to Maria as a gift. Both Maria and the little sweater are surprised, shedding tears of longing for each other.

The book not only aims to entertain but also carries a lesson. Recent national and world events have made the author aware that children are the most overlooked in circumstances beyond their control. These vulnerable little ones should not lose hope at such a young age.
As the author writes in the book, “It is my prayer that this little story will help them forget about their circumstances, at least for a moment, and have hope that somehow, some way, everything will work out for them in the end.”
